Scholars are and tribe members are developing educational resources that shed light on this vital part of California’s indigenous history and also on its future.

The study led by UCLA professor Thiago Puglieri incorporates meaningful input from the Amazon region’s Tikuna community.
The chancellor will hold a series of UCLA Connects: Listening Exercise conversations with the Bruin community beginning in early February.
Frenk is among 17 trailblazers recognized for their contributions to politics, business, culture, entertainment and other fields.
Treu’s Faculty Research Lecture takes place April 24.
Yousef Bozorgnia, Sharon Dolovich and Aaron Littman will receive Public Impact Research Awards at a June 2 ceremony.
